824 Vacations by the Sea

You couldn’t pick a better spot if you came to see the ocean. The views from the living room are stunning. This second floor unit is accessible by elevator and convenient to both the parking lot and a walkway to the beach. The mattresses and furnuvojld use some updating. Everything looks great but comfort-wise, they’ve seen better days. The kitchen has everything you need to bring in groceries and make yourself at home.

We always try to rent this unit when traveling with friends & will return on October. Great views & easy access to the beach.

We wish there was more lighting in the living room, especially a pole lamp by the living room chair. We appreciated the help in turning in the fireplace & a new one would be great - but an electric fireplace sort of is what it is - lol. A bit of mold in the corner of the master bath window. And wow - the major work on the bldgs continue. What are the identified issues?

We loved the location. It is on the beach and next to the wonderful paved walking path. We were with family and we liked having bathrooms for each family. The kitchen was great for all our meals.

We absolutely adored this condo. It’s our 3rd year coming here, and this has been our favorite unit so far. We felt at home the whole time, and loved the view. We hope to be back next year!

The views are wonderful. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans were adequate. Can't beat the location.

Fantastic Condo that we have stayed at for many years.

Our stay was awesome. Great location, fantastic view. Weather was wonderful. Thank you to the owners for upgrading the cookware and cooking utensils. The only thing I would recommend is that you upgrade/replace the couches and chair, there is no support. Oh and there are sugar ants in the kitchen, but that is an easy fix.

We rented 824 and 821 for us and our German exchange student from 2022 and his family. Except for April 8th the weather was glorious. April 9th was the best sunset we’ve ever see and we’ve seen many. Thank you Vacations by the Sea for making our extra special visit so wonderful.

I must say that pictures can't do the location justice. The north end corner condo has an up-close, unobstructed panaramic view that can't be beat.

However, for a frequent vacation renter the amenities left a lot to be desired. You can't spend 24 hours a day on the beach no matter how much you want to. There are a variety of things that created a less than stellar in-room experience--your mileage may vary. On one end of the spectrum was the old, warn, soiled, uncomfortable furniture and a TV that only received local channels and would not allow connections to NETFLIX or Prime. At the other end were nits like no coffee filters, one tiny shampoo for a week stay, the ice maker didn't work and other similar things. Nothing earth shattering, and nothing that ruined our stay.

We thoroughly recommend this condo, the location can't be beat. Westport is one of our favorite vacation spots and this unit will join our list of favorite units here.

It was a great time. It was nice setting inside during the rain and snow. looking out the big windows at the ocean waves.

Just walking into the condo towards the ocean view takes your breath away! We had a lovely rainy weekend stay. Mode to have an elevator with much to haul in and family member with mobility issues. This condo had everything we needed for cooking in. Can’t wait to come again!

As usual this unit has the best view. We enjoyed the deck for a few hours on the 27th. It's always so clean. Just a thought that others have also mentioned, the living room furniture really needs to be replaced. We've been coming to this same unit for almost 10 years and it has slowly been getting old. There are no holes or anything horrible except that the cushions are not giving much support when sitting on them. We'll be back in early April with family from Germany.

We stay at Vacations By The Sea often. Our favorite is unit 824. As close to the water as you can get, spacious and comfy. Can't wait to return. Misty, the manager, is wonderful. She always takes great care of us. Highly recommend.

This condo has the absolute BEST location in the entire complex. The view is fantastic and the beach access is easy. The amenities are amazing, and the complex is very well manicured and maintained. A minor critique is that there are very minimal supplies in the condo such as coffee filters, dish sponge, hangers, etc. We will definitely be back next year!

Started off a bit rocky; after a long drive the cleaning person was still there at 4PM. After that the condo was great. (Weather didn't cooperate being foggy or very windy most of the time

My sister and I were there for four nights and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! Condo was awesome! Would like more handycap parking close to building 8! Many times had to park far away..walking is tough!

We rented the condo for a family gathering. The size was great the kitchen was adequate and the view was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the path to the jetty. It was nice to have some puzzles to work on on cold days.

We enjoy staying in this condo -the views are great. We do wish there were salad/luncheon plates & also some smaller bowls. Cable was VERY limited - we missed some sporting events (Mariners & Huskie softball) we hope to watch - lol

First time to stay in 824 and the views from every window are fantastic. We want to give Sam a big shout out for coming to our unit when we called the office about the sudden loss of power to the cable TV. Sam is very courteous, friendly and professional. She is a great employee. The only negative about the unit is it needs a few smaller plates and bowls.

We had four beautiful nights at the ocean in a perfect ocean front unit. The condo was well equipped and comfortable for the four of us to use.

This is our favorite weekend getaway place! So many memories made, love everything about it! Only unhappy when we have to leave!

When you first walk into this unit, you see the ocean. If that perfect view isn’t enough, you continue into the main room and see the beautiful dunes and trails. Absolutely stunning. We saw deer at dusk and enjoyed the sunset over the ocean. So peaceful. The condo itself is very comfortable on all levels. We will come again, especially for the perfect view!

Another wonderful Christmas week at the beach. Everything was clean and comfortable. The King Tides were amazing to watch from safety of this condo.

Updated, beautifully clean unit. The view was the best. We loved staying there and would try to get this unit again in future.

All in all good. Not many dishes and kitchen items.

We enjoyed our stay again at 824. Friends came for 1 of our 4 night stay. As always the unit was spotless. It seemed like the loveseat cushion might have been replaced. Made it more manageable for me to transfer to and from my wheelchair. The parking situation is getting harder. Of the 4 accessible parking spots near the building only one isn’t reserved for an owner that lives there. I use a ramp van and can’t park in regular parking spots. We ate at the Pine Tree Tavern down the road. Great food and the waitress was serving everyone and got it all right. 2 meals at Westport Winery. We’ll be back for Christmas and hope the decks are useable. We normally have good enough weather for sunset watching on the deck.

We had a wonderful stay here. It's a nice, well-maintained condo with plenty of room. It's not really high end but is in good shape and was clean. The view is the best part. Sunsets were amazing, and we could open the window at night to fall asleep to the sounds of waves crashing. The pool, hottub, and clubhouse were a big bonus and were also well maintained. The only negative was that the day before we arrived, the balconies for the entire building were closed by management because they were inspected and found to be potentially unsafe. Hopefully they can get this fixed in the near future so the balcony will be open again soon.

We went on quite a few long walks on the beach and path also brought our bikes this time which was fun to explore the area. Our family rented several units for a reunion and this was the best. The view was spectacular. The unit was well stocked, had quality furniture and had a welcoming vibe. It was very clean which added to our comfort. We will be back.
The complex as a whole was great for our group. The pool and play areas got a lot of use as the kids loved it.

This is a great place to stay.

Amazing view. We had a great time. The only complaint I have is the beds were very uncomfortable. While we were leaving I looked under the master bed to make sure we weren’t leaving anything behind and it looked like the bed frame might be broken in the middle. The queen bed was uncomfortable too but not as bad

We stayed for 8 days at condo #824 and had a great time. The condo has a great view and is close to the walking trail to the beach. This is our 10th. year staying at Vacations by the Sea and we will be back next year as well.

I LOVE my restful and peaceful time at the ocean!!
I work on different projects creatively while I am sittng at the diningroom table with door to patio open to hear the ROAR of the Ocean.

This corner unit is very ideal. Might be the best location view wise. Everything worked as it should. Beds were comfy & clean. Well insulated sound from waves (when you wanted silence). Zero trash on beach, with carnelian agates and sea glass to hunt for. Neighbors we ran into were all really nice and didn't give you the "renter glare". Good Pizza and Mexican just 2 minutes aay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We ALWAYS have a great visit here. Lunch at Westport Winery and picked up our distillery bottles for the distillery club. Also did pizza and salad from Blackbeard’s. We watched sunsets, many eagles and relaxed so much for our 38th anniversary. Back again in May.

This second floor condo has a wonderful view of the beach and the adjacent Light House Park. It was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us. The cleaning policy of 24 hours between occupants was comforting during this time of covid. We have stayed in other condos in this building and have never been disappointed. Will definitely be back again!

My parents, son and I came for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and the view from the condo was amazing. It was great to have the full kitchen because we brought all our own food so we could still social distance and stay safe even while having a fun getaway for the holiday. The beach was literally steps away. They had everything we could possibly need, even laundry detergent (we discovered on the way over in the car that my 2-year-old son gets car sick watching movies on the Ipad so we NEEDED to do some laundry right away!) It was a perfect getaway, thank you!

Perfect location, near trail to beach with a direct view of the ocean, added value with the north facing side windows provide an unstructured view all the way to Ocean Shores.....
