823 Vacations by the Sea

We have stayed in this unit a few times over the past couple of years and absolutely love the view. The only negative aspect is the couch, it is very uncomfortable and each visit seems more flattened out and less comfortable than the time before. But, a comfortable bed, all the amenities we need, and the VIEW are what keep us coming back.

We have used this condo in the past. It's now in need of some TLC. The couch is completely worn out, it takes hours for the dryer to dry a load, and the locking mechanism on the balcony door is nearly completely rusted out. There are significant exterior repairs going on throughout the complex. It would have been nice to have had a heads up about that. Despite the shortcomings, we had a pleasant stay.

We have stayed here at least 4 years in a row for a large family get together. It is a perfect place for young and old alike. Enough area to all play together but also nice to have our own rooms to have some time to ourselves. We absolutely love this place!

Only stayed one night but 823 was very nice, clean, well kept and had everything you would want for a longer stay. View was excellent and close to the ocean. Great!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate with all our basic needs met. This unit had an elevator which we needed. We were next to beach access and there were sand dollars everywhere. The community was friendly. We loved hearing the ocean and watching happy dogs on the beach. We'll come again.

We had a lovely stay at vacation by the sea in unit 823. I had hunted and analyzed all the pics & 3D walk throughs on the site to find a unit with epic views, that looked super close to the water as well as cute and comfy and I chose right! The view is absolutely EVERYTHING!! We have been to lots of beach houses/resorts in WA and have never been this close!! We could just sit and stare at the waves all day! The whole complex was very clean as well as the unit itself. We were pleasantly surprised at how big the space was! We had everything we needed including cooking multiple meals in the kitchen. Living room fortunately furniture was comfy enough. The bed could have been more comfy. A bamboo topper would be perfect. Also noticed most of the baseboards are banged up/chipped but of course that didn’t affect our stay in any way. Loved the little deck for morning coffee and sunsets!! We would love to come back again!! We scoped the other buildings and it looks like buildings 1, 7 & 8 are the closest to the beach/best views! Highly recommend!!

Very nice

You get a better view of the ocean and beach from anywhere else. If I could afford it, I would stay here for a couple of days every month.

What a wonderful place. It truly is right on the water and was a blast to watch the storm come in. This is the second time I've stayed and I will definitely be back.
Also, the VBTS staff were so amazing and accommodating.

This was our 2nd time here in this condo. It was an incredible place to come home to after working at the local school district. It is relaxing and has the best view in town! The only constructive criticism is that the bed has gotten softer from multiple use. A firmer matrass would be nice. Other than that we were once again wowed by our experience there.

Beautiful sunset and sunrise. Nice, clean, well kept condo. Perfect place for a long weekend beach getaway for a change of pace from Seattle city life.

Very nice escape, the unit was wonderful as well. We were impressed as to how clean and fully furnished it was, thankyou owners.

This is our 3rd time staying at this condo, it had everything we needed including a fan! Always nice to sit on the deck and people watch and see the ocean.

A perfect wedding anniversary get-a-way reliving previous beach experiences. The view was amazing from our window and we were just steps from the beach.

It was awesome first time we dug for clams, I washed all towels and such but the dryer didn’t dry very well

This was our second time staying in these condos, a different unit last year. Both were great! We love the the big picture windows & balcony right on the ocean. The unit was very clean with brand new carpet. The kitchen had all the dishes, pots & pans, utensils etc that we needed ,however we did have to buy coffee filters for the coffee pot- just an FYI. We brought our own seasonings to cook with , there was salt & pepper provided. We love that we can walk right onto the beach and also access the paved trail right from the property. Everything was seamless with checking in & out. Look forward to staying again in the future!

This was a lovely vacation rental. Very clean, the kitchen was pretty well stocked. My son loved the jet tub in the bathroom and I loved the view of the ocean out the windows! It was also wonderful to have a less than 5 minute walk to get to the beach.

we have come to the condos at Vacation by the sea for many years and appreciate the prime location. The acommodations are lovely and we were very comfortable. It is always nice to be able to prepare our own meals. We make a trip to Nelson Crab in Tokeland and then feast on the crab during our stay!!

Lovely! Can't beat the view from this Condo. Some of the furnishing have been updated since pictures. They are lovely. One suggestion would be to update bed comforter (but that is just preference). Beach access is just outside. This year the beach was COVERED in beach treasures: WHOLE sanddollers, large, unbroken shells. They also have an outside shower to rinse off after beach play, which is pretty amazing! Already planning to come back with the kids.

This was our 3rd stay at 823; 2015 was our first. We've enjoyed the ambiance, the quiet, and the location every time. This unit has aged well. When you go, remember to stop at Brady's Oysters nearby, and pick up dinner supplies. Then head out to Bottle Beach and watch the shorebirds.

During our 4-day stay in Unit 823, we experienced quintessential Northwest spring weather - from sunshine to wind to a full-tilt storm complete with hail. Unit 823 was the perfect place to be for it all. The view from this unit is outstanding! We were lulled by the rhythms of the ocean tides, listened to the high winds howl and the rain beat against the windows, and enjoyed watching people and dogs exploring the beach. On the one day we had fine weather, we did a bit of beach combing and were rewarded with various treasures the sea had washed up. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Westport offered plenty of things to see and do - the lighthouse and the Maritime Museum were among our favorites. The International Mermaid Museum at the Westport Winery was hosting a Mermaid Festival, and we spent an afternoon visiting there. The winery's grounds are beautiful with a variety of gardens to discover. We can't wait until we have another opportunity to visit again, and when we do, we hope to book Unit 823.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vacations By The Sea. The condo was beautiful , clean, comfortable and offered stunning views and access to the beach.

Except for a very sparsely furnished kitchen, this is the perfect place for a weekend at the beach. With a perfect view of the beach, and access just down the stairs, it really couldn't be better.

Overall, Westport never disappoints. Great location for this particular rental given its views and proximity to the beach. Wish kitchen had been better appointed as are the other units I’ve stayed. No hairdryer was a fiasco.

Condo was in a wonderful location and very nice. The picture is not representative of the furnishings, though. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend the following: a ceiling fan in the bedroom, a table on the deck and a disinfecting of the garbage disposal. Could use a little sprucing up too.

The room is vary nicely apportioned with a great view. Perfect for a couple or small family. The living room has a large picture window overlooking the ocean and beach. The kitchen is large and well-stocked with cooking utensils. We would stay in this room again.

Lovely view, nice new microwave, stove & dishwasher (need instruction manual). Furnishings good too. Bathroom sink drained slowly.

I have been here several times and each time have enjoyed it. This unit has an amazing view that I sat in front of all day. On the last day I accidentally locked my phone in the condo when I was going to leave. The on call person was there within 10-15 minutes to let me in, so I could get back home. I appreciate how fast he arrived to help me.

Very relaxing. I love the huge picture window. The weather was horrible, which was perfect because it made the view that much more exciting. I plan on doing this every year.

Loved our stay, but had these maintenance issues:
1) Range oven audible alarm -> error code = F3E2
2) Freezer ice maker leaked into freezer & refrigerator
3) Bathroom sink partially clogged

Staying at a condo like this one was just what we needed to break our COVID confinement blues. Great location - near the Westport Lighthouse & direct access to the park & paved paths. Well equipped kitchen, balcony & a jetted tub. We will definitely be back!

We really liked the location of this property and furnishings. However we planned on mostly cooking in, and were disappointed by the lack of basic cooking supplies (the unit only had flavored salt). We’ve stayed in other units many times and never had an issue with the owner not supplying salt or filter baskets for the coffee pot. I think a lot of guests bring their own coffee. Luckily we had friends staying next door and their unit was well stocked with supplies so we didn’t have to go to the store for basics like salt or filters. I realize it’s a nitpick, but since most people cook at least a few meals over the course of their stay, it’s helpful to keep the kitchen stocked with basic supplies.

Great property/grounds and we love Westport. The unit had a great layout and was clean and well-stocked. The furniture truly needs to be replaced. We did not feel comfortable using them. We are glad we brought our own blanket and bedspread.

We will be coming back next year!
