Providing a safe, socially distanced, beach getaway for you
(updated May 2022)
All of us here at Vacation by the Sea continue to send our best wishes for health and safety to you and your family. We are so excited to welcome our valued guests back to the beach!
As we resume "normal operation", we remain vigilant to do our part to mitigate any potential areas of spread in our community. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time at the beach!
At this time, a minimum nightly stay requirement continues to be in effect. You can visit our website to select your perfect vacation home rental and reserve it with confidence. If you cannot find what you're looking for, please email us at info@vacationbythesea.com, with your name, phone number, preferred condo, number of guests, and requested date of stay. We will get back to you ASAP, always within 24 hours.
It's our top priority to provide a clean and safe vacation home for all of our guests. Vacation by the Sea housekeepers are employees, not subcontractors, who are valuable members of our team. Our cleaning professionals have followed all Washington State Department of Health and CDC cleanliness standards for years and we have presented extra training that covers handwashing, proper use of PPE, sanitation, and social distancing. Our cleaning procedures are extensive with very high standards and additional time is being taken as needed. We are using EPA and CDC approved chemicals that are rated to kill germs and viruses, specifically the SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID19, paying special attention to high-touch areas. We do our best to ensure that your entire vacation home is cleaned and disinfected between all guests, and towels/linens are washed in our professional grade laundry facility.
Please be aware that the Home Owners Association is opening certain amenities on property this season with restrictions in place out of an abundance of caution. We will keep our guests posted of any limitations, and please note that access to amenities may still change as the risk levels change. We expect the swimming pool to open for the season on Memorial Day weekend. The hot tub will remain by reservation. Instructions will be sent about how to reserve the hot tub before your arrival. Hours of operation and reservations may be limited.
We encourage our guests to check with experiencewestport.com for up to date information about what's happening in Westport. While many festivals have been canceled during this period; razor clamming, fishing, surfing and beachcombing are all healthy and safe activities that you can enjoy with your household!
The good news is there are plenty of wide open spaces here to walk on the open beach, fly a kite, enjoy a good book, surf, ride your bicycle, or go fishing. many of our local restaurants are open for limited dine in, outdoor seating, and take out. Most small local stores and gift shops are also open for business with social distancing in place along with masks needed for entry.
When it's time to travel to Westport and while you are here, we ask that guests follow all CDC recommendations to slow the spread of COVID19. If you're feeling sick or have flu/cough symptoms, please reschedule your stay with us. While here, be sure to wash and sanitize your hands frequently. Many of our small local businesses are open but we all ask for your patience as they learn how to operate under these new rules of life. Labor shortages continue to be an issue and we ask for grace in all interactions.
We are so happy to begin this journey back to normalcy. Our homes are clean, spacious, and safe for you to enjoy while you relax at the beach. Together we can help everyone stay safe and healthy!
See you soon!
