Playing our Part in Washington's Safe Start

We are here when you're ready

Welcome back to the beach!  We are doing our best to keep our guests, team, and community safe.  We appreciate your help in this effort to slow the spread of COVID19.  Here are the details on how we can work together to do this.

All of us here at Vacation by the Sea continue to send our best wishes for health and safety to you and your family.  We are so excited to welcome our valued guests back to the beach!

Please note Washington State Department of Health require everyone over 4 years of age to wear face coverings when you can not maintain 6 feet of distance from others so please wear one in the condominium hallways, stairwells, and elevators as a courtesy to other guests and residents.  We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time at the beach.

At this time, we are taking future bookings at a 5-night minimum with a 24-hour pause between each reservation. You can visit our website to select your perfect vacation home rental and reserve it with confidence.

It's our top priority to provide a clean and safe vacation home for all of our guests.  Vacation by the Sea housekeepers are employees, not subcontractors, who are valuable members of our team.  Our cleaning professionals have followed all Washington State Department of Health and CDC cleanliness standards for years and we have presented extra training that covers handwashing, proper use of PPE, sanitation, and social distancing.  Our cleaning procedures are extensive with very high standards and additional time is being taken as needed.  We are using EPA and CDC approved chemicals that are rated to kill germs and viruses, specifically the SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID19, paying special attention to high-touch areas.  We will ensure that your entire vacation home is cleaned and disinfected between all guests, and towels/linens are washed in our professional grade laundry facility.  The 24 hour hold between each guest reservation is recommended by the hospitality industry and Vacation Rental Management Association.

Please be aware that the Home Owners Association has elected not to open certain ammenities on property this season out of an abundance of caution.  Specifically the heated outdoor pool, hottub, and fitness room will not be open.  Please consider booking dates later or next year if these are critical to your enjoyment.  Many of our favorite festivals and events had to be rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled for this season.  We encourage you to check with experiencewestport.com for up to date information about what's happening in Westport.

The good news is there are plenty of wide open spaces here to walk on the open beach, fly a kite, enjoy a good book, surf, ride your bicycle, or go fishing.  many of our local restaurants are open for limited dine in, outdoor seating, and take out.  Most small local stores and gift shops are alos open for business with social distancing in place along with masks needed for entry.

When it's time to travel to Westport and while you are here, we ask that guests follow all CDC recommendations to slow the spread of COVID19.  If you're feeling sick or have flu/cough symptoms, please reschedule your stay with us.  While here, be sure to wash and sanitize your hands frequently, wear a mask when around others, avoid gathering, and maintain social distance of 6 feet or more when out and about.  Many of our small local businesses are open but we all ask for your patience as they learn how to operate under these new rules of life.  Our homes are clean, spacious, and safe for you to enjoy while you relax at the beach.  Together we can help everyone stay safe and healthy!

See you soon!
