Vacations by the Sea is a family owned and operated vacation home rental business. We have been in business over 10 years managing vacation rental properties on the South Beach, mostly in the Westport by the Sea complex, for property owners. All condominiums we manage are privately owned and furnished by the homeowners so each has its own feel and style. A vacation rental is very much like your own home. Our units are all individually owned and furnished with all the amenities you would expect in a vacation home. We offer several ways to make a reservation. You can call us at (360) 268-1119 and speak to one of our customer service professionals during business hours. You can also make a secure online registration through our website. You can also send us an email with vacation dates, a contact number, and a convenient time to call and we will be happy to call you back. A deposit equal to the amount of the first night’s lodging is required for all reservations and may be paid either immediately by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). Deposit by personal check by special permission, please inquire with reservationist when making reservation.

Everyone in your party counts as a guest. For fire and safety reasons, all of our one bedroom units are limited to a maximum occupancy of <b>Four</b> guests and all of our two bedroom units are limited to a maximum occupancy of <b>Six</b> guests.
We send out arrival paperwork including instructions on how to enter the condo via email 1 week prior to your arrival. Keys are located in a lock box of the door frame with a code given to you in the paperwork. Simply enter the code, slide up the door on the side of the lockbox, and use the key to enter. We will always provide you with emergency numbers in case you have any difficulties getting into the condo or have an issue upon arrival. Fitness and Pool access is provided by the Gray Key Fob located on the black paddle keys inside the condo.
High Season and Low Season vary slightly from year ot year but generally High Season begins on May 15th and last through the busy summer season through September 15th. Low Season begins on September 16th and ends on May 14th. Rates vary between these seasons as well as during holidays and special events. A minimum stay requirement may be in effect for certain holidays and special events as well. We hope you won't need to cancel your beach vacation but understand the unexpected can happen. The cancellation policy associated with your rental agreement will clearly communicate penalties associated with canceling your reservation. Please note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not permitted.
The short answer is no, but please let us explain; we want you to come to one of our vacation rentals to relax and not have to worry about how clean the bathroom is or wonder iif the sheets were changed by the last guest. By charging a cleaning fee we can guarantee that the condo is maintained at our high standard of cleanliness by having our professional staff do the cleaning. Everyone benefits from it. We know from our own experience from renting other vacation condos that everyone's clean is not the same and it is not a pleasant experience for anyone, especially if you are the unlucky one who came in after the folks who's attitude was "It's good enough, we're out of here".
You're on vacation and let's face it most folks don't want to spend 2 to 4 hours cleaning toilets, vacuuming, doing laundry, making beds, etc. before they load up to head home, the cleaning fee is money well spent. Our condos are well stocked with ammenities and we can always provide more if needed. We also believe in providing living wage jobs for our cleaning staff, who are our community members, they are insured professionals and work very efficiently.
The per-stay Cleaning Fee for a one bedroom Condo is $50 and for a two bedroom Condo is $75.
We ask that you report any problems immediately. Contact information will be provided in the pre-arrival instructions and also posted in the rental. The telephone number listed in this information will be your best resource to quickly resolve any issues.
Please ensure all windows and doors are locked and the unit is secure. Complete the departure checklist located on the back of the entry door. Also please ensure all electrical appliances and heat are off. Check to make sure that all your personal items are packed, and nothing is left behind. Please leave all 3 sets of keys (2 paddle keys, 1 lock box key) on the hook by the door or kitchen counter and lock the door as you leave.
